Due to an internal promotion, we now have a vacancy in our Customer Services Team for a full time Housing Officer post to ensure our customers are well supported during these challenging times, and to help deliver our Business Plan objectives.
To succeed in this role, you should be confident working within a performance culture where you will be expected to deliver excellent results. You will be a visible, reassuring presence in the communities where we work and will be an experienced housing professional who is comfortable working to deliver key outcomes from the Scottish Social Housing Charter. Our expectation is that you will work within the wider Customer Services Team and deliver core social housing management tasks including estate management, income management, allocations and deal effectively with day-to-day challenges such as complaints and anti-social behaviour. You will be familiar with the wider context of social housing in Scotland and confident working to and further developing our housing related policies and procedures, aspiring to always deliver best practice.
You will be instinctively customer focused and have a “solution focused” attitude to ensure that our customers’ experiences of our service remain positive. You will understand the importance of working with partner agencies to achieve desired outcomes. You will have a key role in ensuring the required outcomes of the Scottish Social Housing Charter are met for our tenants.
