Annual Rent Consultation 2020-21
Each year we review our rents and set new rents from the 28th March. We always consult with our tenants on proposed increases and ask for views before making a final decision.
Decisions about rent increases are never easy and our Management Committee must try and balance keeping rents affordable with being able to invest in your homes and provide a service which meets regulatory standards.
This year we are asking your views on a 2.5% rent increase, which is below the level of increase we originally assumed in our Business Plan. The leaflet, which you can find here, explains what this would mean for your rent if the increase is agreed, and also explains about the commitments we need to consider in making our decision.
We have also set out how our service charges are calculated and what these will be in 2020/21.

This Consultation will run until the 27 January 2020 and the results will be reported back to Management Committee in February as part of the final decision making process.
