In March 2023, and as part of the Association's commitment to health and wellbeing, a Kindness Award scheme for staff was established. In April 2023 it was extended to tenants and residents, launching the initiative through our Spring 2023 magazine.
We have seen people helping each other through COVID and lockdown periods, whether it be assisting with shopping, picking up prescriptions, cooking soup and sharing it with neighbours or simply chapping a friend's door and heading out for a walk.
Staff at the Association, called tenants and residents and colleagues too, checking on their health and wellbeing through the toughest of times. Others organised garden catch ups or accompanied friends to our Dalmuir Diners project when restrictions were relaxed.
Why should we stop showing acts of kindness?

We have nomination forms and post boxes in Beardmore House, our Sheltered Housing Complexes and Dalmuir Out of School Care Group. Feel free to pick one up and nominate someone who you think deserves a mention and a ''Kindness Award''.
